Wellness Wet Cat Food Calories
Is Wellness Core good for an indoor cat?
Someone told me that core had too many calories for an indoor cat. She’s awfully lazy, though I do make certain to play with her regularly, she still get a lot of downtime. I buy her wet food (mostly wellness, but if the ingredients look okay I’ll get it for her) but I cant afford for that to be her main food source.
Do I need to get her the indoor formula? From what I can tell Core is a higher quality, but is it too rich for her? AH! I wish I could afford to give her raw…
Wellness Core is an excellent dry cat food. It will be fine for an indoor cat. Mine are all indoor cats and I tried the Wellness Core for them, but couldn’t get them to like it. Ultimately, even the best cat foods won’t work if your cats don’t like them or can’t tolerate them. I found two other ones that mine like, though, that are almost as good as the Wellness Core and don’t contain meat by-products or some other undesirable stuff. I also feed them the wet canned food for one of their daily meals. Your cat, if she likes the Core, will probably just eat a little less of it, and keep giving her the wet food for some of her meals, too. Sounds like she’ll do just fine, as long as she likes it. It took me a lot of trying before I found the ones my cats like and is good for them. Good luck!
