WWE has suspended DH Smith for 30 days for his first violation of the wellness policy.
In a 2003 interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Harry Smith he had no plans on taking steroids. “I’ve never taken steroids, I don’t plan to. I loved my Dad, and yes he made mistakes, but I have learned from them. I won’t go down that path.” Obviously, things change.
Your thoughts?
There’s a lot of pressure in the business to catch someone’s eye, and sadly, the way to go has been steroids for a long time. I don’t fault Harry for doing something I’m sure even the boss’s son in law and current champ have done in the past. If I were stuck in a landscape where big men have a future, I’d feel pressure to take steroids too, even moreso if I had a legacy to uphold.
