Wellness Just For Seniors Dog Food
senior dogs what should i feed them? also cats?
I have an 8 year old Mini Doxie (10 lbs.) and a 13 year old mutt (60 lbs) and i am switching them off of natures recipe to a better food (i did not know better). i am kind of in a toss up between a few brands: Merrick, Orijen, Fromm, Blue, Innova, and wellness.
Also i have 2 2 year old cats (currently on nutro) i was wondering if anyone had a good food choice for them.
i plan to feed dry. possibly wet/dry mix. no raw diets or home made…i would love too but i live in a tiny apartment and have little free time and it would just not work out 
i need something easy and yummy and good!!
i want opinions not websites…ive been searching websites all night. pros and cons would be amazing!!!!

My staffy didnt like Blue – She liked Wellness, Innova, Canidae, california naturals and Diamond Naturals. We feed the Diamond naturals because its the one that gave her the least gas and its only 26.99 for a 40lb bag – Corn, Wheat and Preservative free.
All of those brands come in cat food too , I believe – but My cat eats the Blue Buff Cat food switched off with Evo.
Both are cost effective for me and the cat like to have the variety.
Most of the people I know dont buy any thing based on breed size (cept large breed puppy)
My Staffy is only about 6 but she had a hard life before me so my vet recommended starting her on a senoir diet by the time shes 7 – He told me I could keep her on her normal food and just supplment with Glucosomine Chon, fish oil and a few other things. Diamond Naturals is working for us right now but we may switch to EVO after a while.
D-nat is a good price for a decent food- not Premium but def one of the better cost affordable ones for the budget minded.
