Switching from giving my dogs table to only dog food.?
From the very first day, I got her ( one year ago ) My
Yokie wouldn’t eat any kind of puppy food ( dry or wet ).. I
would buy different brands of dog food on a daily bacis
and leave it down on the floor all day or I tried picking up
her food and putting back on the floor every one or two hours.
I even brought her good quality food….Wellness, Royal cain and Eukanuba, She would eat these brands just for a week.
i got tired of waisting money and I didn’t want to starve her.
So I started her on stew chicken, tuna fish or bacon, she loves it. I been feeding her this way for 6 months…last month I been reading all the good reviews about Canidae puppy
food. I decided to order it…it came yesterday.I gave her some and she loves it!!…Thank God…Now my question is…How do I
make the switch from table food to only eating Canidae food?

I would only give her the Canidae food, she might have a little diarrhea for a while, but once her body adjusts it will be OK. If she stops eating it, leave the food down for about 20 min and pick it up after that. She is a dog, eventually she will get hungry and start to eat. Dogs will not deliberately starve themselves, if they can’t get you to give them what they want, they will eat what is available. So don’t cave when she gives you the puppy eyes and says that she’s starving. She will eat what you put in front of her if you don’t give them another choice.
