Wellness Healthy Weight Formula
Wellness healthy weight?
My chihuahua’s are currently eating Wellness small breed formula,
But one of them is slightly overweight, and he needs a food that is high in fiber.
Would Wellness Healthy Weight be a better food for them? Also do you walk you’re dog with a collar or harness? I prefer to use a harness because it seems a lot more comfortable than a collar.
I know I spelled some things wrong
I’m asking because the vet recomended
switching to something with less fat and
more fiber because he could develop
joint problems from being overweight
and he also has anal gland promlems
which is why he needs more fiber.
Do you free feed them? If so, restrict the amount of food, and don’t feed table scraps. I would try the healthy weight, if his weight doesn’t improve you need to put him on a weight reduction diet.
If your dog is pulling with a collar, you can use a harness, but what you really need to do is teach him not to pull. A good dog will walk at your side with no tension on the collar.
