How will ‘public option healthcare’ affect chiropractors and other specialists?
I work for a chiropractor. Under most insurance companies, they are considered ‘specialists’ so their benefits and coverage is a bit different than, say, a pediatrician. Most people visit a chiropractor for preventative measures, to correct a problem, and then for wellness (to stay healthy). I’ve always thought everyone should do this in order to stay healthy and not have to incur huge med bills for problems down the road. Anyway, how would this health plan affect them?
Karl: Are you kidding? If it was such a fraud, why do millions of people go to them? If they didn’t fix things that doctors can’t fix, wouldn’t you think that they’d be sued left and right? Chiropractors malpractice insurance is THOUSANDS of dollars less than MD’s. that should tell you something right there.
Finally someone has chiropractor’s numbers and they will be done away with. I believe it is the only thing obama is doing that I believe in.
It takes a fraud to know a fraud.
