Wellness grain free reduced fat or Blue Wilderness?
Golden retriever with seasonal allergies and overweight. Has been on Natural Balance most of his 3 years. Natural Balance doesn’t have probiotics or fruit and vegs in their dog food.
I would definitely go with Wellness Core (grain free) Reduced Fat.
I’ve been feeding my dogs Wellness for the past 7 years. It is a high quality brand that I trust. There are no by-products, fillers, artificial flavors and coloring, or strange, unpronounceable chemicals that might very well have been made up to look impressive.
It has Human Quality ingredients (this means they stick to the same health and safety regulations as they would if they were handling food meant for humans) and use the best portions of meat.

Go with Wellness Core Reduced fat and follow the feeding guidelines on the package according to your dog’s current weight. Increase the amount of walks you take him on and I guarantee you he will lose weight and be a healthier, happier dog overall.
Just make sure you make the food change gradual so as not to upset his stomach or give him the runs. Basically feed him a bowl with mostly the old food and a tiny bit of the new food, the next day add a little more of the new food and a little less of the old. Keep doing this everyday until only the new food is left.
