How much do you think this fitness center might cost?
I tried a wellness center with a free pass. I went only one day. They wouldn’t tell you the cost of the center. You had to see someone specific for this. When I went, it seemed like luxury. They have pool, showers, towels, blow dryers, sauna, hot tub, equipments, classes, lockers. What do you think it might cost? I don’t like when centers don’t tell you the cost right up front.
I want to go to a gym, but I don’t want a year contract. I want to quit when I want to. I am thinking of trying free passes. Is there anything else I should look for? Or tips to pick a gym?
They won’t tell you the price until you’re sitting with a sales rep for the fitness center. They’ve been trained to deal with all your objections.
Do you live in a big city with lots of options, with lots of different fitness centers? Or do you live in a small town with just one or two choices? You can drive a better deal with more facilities available. Remember, everything is negotiable, including gym memberships.
Average monthly fee for a gym membership is probably about $40.
With used equipment, you can set up your own home gym for maybe the cost of one year’s fees. Consider that option too.
