Wellness First Chiropractic
Budgeted single mom over 40 interested in attending nursing school. How? Should I? Financing? First Steps?
I have allowed the enormity of the questions I am asking to stop me from doing anything and can not afford to be inactive about this decision any longer.
I am single, non insured, currently in great health, licensed esthetician operating my own business out of a Chiropractic Wellness clinic. I Love my career but believe there may be limitations to it’s ability to provide a solid retirement for me as a single mom.
Benefits to what I do now: Incredible flexibility in schedule, sufficient income for my current situation, great work environment, ability to increase income.
Disadvantages: No insurance provided, No retirement, Luxury business in a somwhat economically challenged area.
My thought is to return to college (existing credits of about sophmore level initially business major) to acquire nursing degree ( which one? I don’t know) Combine with Esthetics license and work for plastic surgeon.
Any thoughts, input or suggestions would be appreciated!
