Help me please! For the sake of my dogs health. 10 points!?
How do I convince my mother to get a better brand? We use the 15 pound kroger bag for $5.99. I give her my allowence each week for my dogs food, treats, etc. At work I make $20 per day during summer and days off. What can I tell my mom about the food nutrition and health.

Dog food is different from human foods because there is no real rules. Let her know that if you look on the back and see by product, that can mean feces, hooves, intestines, etc. There are also a lot of fillers in the cheap food, such as corn. These fillers will have the dog coming back to the food bowl more often, and you will run through a bag of dog food pretty quick. Where if you get the taste of the wild brand, they will get their fill and have the nutrients their bodies need, and won’t eat as often. Mine used to eat 3 times a day, now they eat breakfast and are fine the rest of the day.
Blue buffalo is good, but pricey. Just check the back of the dog food. I buy Diamond Naturals. Not the regular Diamond (this is cheaper, as well as less quality). Some sort of meat should be the main ingredient, and buying food that says no corn, wheat, or soy will kick out some of the common fillers in dog food. Better quality=longer lasting food, and healthier dog
