Wellness Dog Food Lamb And Rice
Wellness dog food creating more stools?
I know this is an odd question but I have always heard that your higher end dog foods would create smaller or fewer stools. Well my little dog is just the opposite since I switched to Wellness lamb and rice.. He has been going twice as much now than he did on a cheaper dog food. Anyone have an answer why this is happening?
Did you reduce the quantity of food you are feeding him when you switched to Wellness? Less of a more nutrient-dense food is required, since there is less filler. I don’t quite know why this is, but if you feed the correct amount the dog will produce a certain amount of stools… if you feed just a little bit more than the dog needs, the dog will produce a LOT more stools.
