Wellness Dog Food Canned Chicken
does my dog have a tumor?
I just now noticed she has a lump on her back leg where most of the muscle is. It looks clear and reddish kind of. Could it be just a cyst? Her mother had a mammary tumor not too long ago. My dog is 10 yrs old and her mom is my aunts dog and she’s probably about 14. She’s a chihuhua terrier mix and I only say terrier because she has some terrier features her dad was definitely a chihuhua. She’s about 14 pounds and in good health. Only medical history she has is an umbilical hernia that the vet assured me when I first got her that it wasn’t an issue. She gets her daily excersice and eats boiled chicken and wellness brand dog food for small breeds. Its about the size of a dime. I can’t see the vet until Saturday should I wait until then to see how it gets or should I have her seen right away?
She doesn’t show signs of tenderness or pain she actually just turned over on it
Get it checked out as soon as you can. I doubt a week will make a big difference, if it makes a difference financially. You do need to get it it looked at, It might just be a fatty tumor, but it needs to be checked out by a vet as soon as you can do it.
