High Carbs in Wellness CORE cat food??? :S?
I know Wellness and Wellness CORE cat food is an excellent brand since I asked like 20 questions about it on yahoo answers. Although I wanted to know (again) does wellness CORE (not wellness) have a high carb count?? I understand carbs are not a proper diet for cats, but I buy Wellness CORE ’cause of the very high protein that I know is very good for cats. My two kittens get a little less than a cup of dry wellness CORE food in the morning and that’s it. (they get like 3 cans of wet food friday, saturday and sunday) Is is still ok and healthy for me to feed them Wellness CORE because of the high cards???
I need a complete and honest answer. I can’t trust my vet because all they do is recommend crappy Science Diet and Iams. I am putting my whole trust into you guys so please help me out!! I love my kittens and want the very best for them!!

Hi there… Wellness CORE is a very low carb product on the market and is one of the best dry foods available for cats. However, please do keep in mind that cats who eat dry food are still consuming some level of carbs.
The only way to avoid consumption of any carbs would be changing to a canned only diet.
