Wellness Core Canned Cat Food
I AM CONCERNED ABOUT WELLNESS CORE CAT FOOD!!!!???!!?
I just heard that it has to high protein levels that can cause a liver damage???!! Is that true?? I thought cats need low carbs and high protein to survive. I was going to feed this to my cats but now I may keep them on Whiskas!! Please help me I am concerned.

Do the research. The information is out there. Prolonged high protein levels can involve difficulties with the kidneys and liver. I just looked it up to be sure. There is much debate out there whether the higher levels are beneficial or harmful over time. Currently, there are two schools of thought. My strong suggestion is to do the research on nutrition as I did and decide for yourself. Some cats do ok with the high protein, others do not. I personally decided to go with a middle of the road approach. I use brands like Eagle Pack Holistic Select, Professional, Felidae, Fromm, and such.
