Wellness Coaching Certification
I want to improve myself through online education and certifications in certain areas. Money is a problem.?
I am a college graduate with a degree that has nothing to do with my area’s of employment over the last 30+ years. I am also a veteran who has no benefits due to the lapse of time. I am most interested in taking correspondence or online classes in speciffic areas that will include health, fitness, and wellness (I am a very good and experienced coach and personal trainer) as well as computer courses such as word, excel, and powerpoint. Finanncial Aid will be a must for me. Another question posed to me by a friend would be what financial aid options are available for convicted felons that have served their time and want to get on the right track to self sufficiency. She is a relative and will have access to my PC if it comes down to that. Thanks
I would highly advise against an online school. Some are legitimate. most are not.. Univ. of Pheonix is currently being sued for unlawful practices relating to fees, etc.. I ALSO know they are keeping any excess aid for FUTURE classes..which they are not supposed to do. There is a program thru DHS if u have a disability from being a veteran that they will help pay for tuition and books.. Contact the VA, they have grants for people like u.. GL
