Wellness And Recovery

People with personality disorders?
Do you feel as if you have periods of being well and periods of being unwell or do you struggle with it everyday? The reason i ask is because i’m trying to complete a wellness recovery action plan, only i’m having trouble as i don’t feel there are ever periods when i’m completely well. I’m just wondering if others feel the same or whether it’s just that i don’t recognize the changes within myself.
I have periods where I am better than others but I am never completely well, but I guess you could say I am “improved” when I am in a better space.
Its something I have to deal with everyday, I will always have symptoms that I have to deal with but at times I only have 1 or 2 rather than a full blown load of symptoms. But for me that’s life.
I think that sometimes I don’t notice them as much as other times and that’s fine by me. The biggest problem for me is the side effects of my medications that I take for my condition. They can be more of a hurdle when i am feeling better as they sometimes make me feel like I am always having a bad day.
When you have a personality disorder it can be really hard to recognize the changes within yourself so it helps to have a trusted person to talk with sometimes to review where you are compared to a set period of time before.
I made a wellness action plan about 6 years ago and for me it really helped. I have come a long way since then so stick with it.
It might not be easy to read at times but it will help you to get a direction and get just a little further along the road.
