Weight Loss Vinegar Honey

Has anyone heard of the 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey mixed in a glass of water diet?

Has anyone had an weight loss with this diet? Has anyone experienced any problems due to using this diet?

(This should only be used only as a supplement in a well balanced diet, not to replace one.)

I have been researching this and have not come up with anything conclusive. I would suggest, it can’t hurt & is worthy of a trial. Some people swear by it, some say it’s done nothing. From comments made by the second source, I would think that difference is based on 1.) your carb consumption & 2.) your insulin resistance.

I started this once as a trial but had to stop because I was already consuming high levels of acetic acid in Kombucha tea and ended up with way too much. The heat killed my kombucha, so have started on ACV ( raw apple cider vinegar) but only for a couple of days.

a study said that “organic type” ACV acts much like metformin. They recommended drinking before every meal.

ACV = acetic acid 5% no gluconic acid BUT honey has gluconic acid – Kombucha tea = 1% acetic acid + gluconic acid (which can break down to caprylic acid)

On rising 1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar (ACV) in glass of water on empty stomach. Lunchtime 2 tsp. ACV & 2 tsp. raw honey in glass of water, sip before, during, after meal doesn’t matter. Dinner 2 tsp. ACV & 2 tsp. raw honey in glass of water, sip before, during, after meal doesn’t matter.
