Weight Loss Vegetarian Diet Menu
im 260 pounds ,i want to loss weight?
since staying at home and eating snacks etc…finally ive decided that i got to loss weight and now im trying my best to have a raw diet but its quite hard but im going with it .my friend told me if you want to be slim then dont eat rice”’(im dieing to eat something like rice or bread )its already two days that im on dieing raw vegetable diet.i really want to loss 100 pounds im not a vegetarian and i really need a menu plan!please help.
Hello. I understand your desire to lose weight. In my opinion, from personal experience, you are trying a diet that is going to be very difficult for you to maintain. Obviously, a whole “raw food,” organic diet would be great for you. However, it’s just not that doable for most people. I lost 110 pounds and have kept it off.
Here’s what I did. First, I thought about my own strengths and weaknesses. I knew I could give up sweets and treats, but I also knew that if I got really hungry, I was going to eat! So, I looked a a bunch of diet plans. Some (Jenny Craig) might be good for some people, but were not going to work for me. Not nearly enough food.
The one I settled on was called “Physician’s Weight Loss Clinic” – I think it’s owned by “Diet Center” now, but I don’t know if they use the same program. On that diet plan, I ate a TON of food, but it was all very healthy food. The other thing I liked about it, is that it was balanced. I had some carbs with every meal. But they were “high impact” carbs (no white flour or sugar).
This was maintainable… and it taught me how to eat in a way that I was able to modify once I had lost the weight. I was then able to keep it off.
Breakfast was a bowl of Fiber One and half a cup of milk, and half a banana. I had five small protein shakes a day. But lunch and dinner were very filling, big bowls of brocolli or other vegetable, a meat serving (lean), a big salad, popcorn or rice or some other carb/starch (small amount) some source of fat (not much, but some – you need some). Some fruit too (small amount) with each meal. It worked great.
