Weight Loss Pill Question?
Okay, so i had twins a year and half ago, and went through a bad divorce, and i seem stuck at a size 12, this is the largest i have ever been, since ever since high-school i have been a size three. I jus kind of let myself go with everything that was going on. I have been dieting for 5 months, and exercising at at a gym fives day a week, im not losing weight fast enough. My sister will be getting married in July, and her wedding is a beach wedding in Hawaii, and her brides maids are wearing two piece bathing suits and sarongs, so i need to lose weight really fast. As i do not want to be over weight at my sister’s wedding, i have decided to try diet pills. So i’ve read reviews on alot of them, but it’s hard to tell when it is actually real people talking, or if it is jus people working for the company. So any suggestions for something that actually works?
You painted yourself into a corner and now you’re looking for an easy, fast, and probably cheap way to get out of your predicament. Turning to supplement scams won’t help. You’ll just put yourself at risk and waste a bunch of money. You should be talking to your doctor instead of asking a bunch of strangers for advice. Here are some things to think about.
- If there was a diet pill that worked, why would obesity be an epidemic?
- If there was a diet pill that worked, why would people spend $millions on liposuction or stomach stapling?
- If there was a diet pill that worked, why aren’t they using it on that “Biggest Loser” tv show?
- If there was a diet pill that worked, what will you do after you lose the fat? Are you going to keep taking the pill forever or do you think the fat will just magically stay gone?
- If there was a diet supplement that worked, why haven’t the huge and powerful pharmaceutical companies marketed it?
The reality is the only diet pills that “work” (and they don’t work very well) are available by prescription only. Anything else has to be sold as a supplement because supplements are virtually unregulated by the FDA. None of the pills and junk sold as supplements will help you burn fat beyond simple placebo effect.
The best advice anyone can give you is to go consult with your physician and avoid taking supplements unless recommended by your healthcare professional.
