is it harmful to work in NUCLEAR STATIONS?
friends im considering a higher studies in NUCLEAR SCIENCE and i would possibly work in INDIRA GANDHI ATOMIC CENTRE(INDIA) or some nuclear research areas where there is risk of being exposed to nuclear radiation……….. but my friends say its very harmful job and we wont have any side effects now but after 40years of age there will be some side effects of constant exposure to radiation like greying of hair, loss of weight, sexual weakness etc……… is it all true??
I work in a nuclear research facility in Canada. There regulations are so tight that it’s almost impossible to get yourself exposed to radiation. You’d get a higher dose of radiation from flying in a plane that working in a nuclear power plant.
