Weight Loss Over 40 Years
Anyone know of a over the counter weight loss medication that ACTUALLY works?
I know that exercise and a lowfat diet is the way to lose weight and keep it off. I have lost weight the “right” way before. Exercising and watching what I ate helped me to lose 60 lbs. about 3 years ago. BUT….since then I was prescribed the medication Prednisone, which made me gain 40 lbs. in 2 months. THEN…the month I stopped Prednisone, I found out I was pregnant with my third child. She is now 14 months old, and I still have all the baby fat, plus the 40 lbs. from the Prednisone!!! I plan to exercise and diet, but I feel like if I could find a medication that I can buy over the counter to give myself a inital boost, that would be great! Anyone know of anything that REALLY works??? PLZ let me know! Thanx!!!
For all of the “quick and easy” weight loss diet pill suggestions, remember, if something sounds too good to be true… it probably is, particularly if you have to pay for it.
A quick comment specifically on PHYTOLACCA BERRY (Pokeweed is the common name). I’ve noticed that there have been increasing posts to this forum suggesting that this a good approach to weight loss. I have found no valid clinical trials that substantiate the claims made for this extract as a safe and effective weight loss treatment. I have found that on 7/18/98, the FDA stated that Pokeweed is “a well-characterized poisonous plant and that toxicity to humans and animals was associated with exposure to all parts of the pokeweed plant.”
