I can’t see the results of my weight loss program?
I look in the mirror but i can’t see a difference, is there a way i can check more clearly that i am losing weight.
Buy a decent quality digital scale. Weigh yourself in the mornings, before eating. If you are losing body fat and not putting on a lot of extra muscle at the moment, the number will go down.
However, this can be misleading because if you ARE exercising more than normal, the scale might not change even though your body shape *is* changing! Do your clothes feel different? Less tight around the waist, tummy, or thighs?
I’d also recommend getting a tailor’s measuring tape. Once a week, wrap it around your waist, upper + middle thigh, tummy, and whatever other body parts you find troubling. Record the measurements in a notebook with the date. If you are losing weight, you will see a gradual decrease in your measurements, and you can be *sure* it’s not just that your jeans are stretched out or something!
