Weight Loss Mentor
Students Relationship with a Faculty Member?
Heyyy Im 17 and this past year I did a comp. at school where I was partnered up with the school secretary. Not only did I have the great opportunity of this woman being my mentor or guide/ teacher through the whole competition. It was for weight loss. But I gained a friends. We got really close and we are great friends now. My parents can not stand her and they think I should no longer be friends with her. My parents are not the greatest people. Dads and alcoholic and moms in love with my little brothers lives. They never pay a speck of attention to me and never ever say they love me never once have they ever said it. They miss every school function and there outright always telling me I am an asshole. Should I stop being friends with the secretary and what should i do about my parents.
It seems as if she is the only one in your life that is worth a darn. I would say keep being friends with her. It makes me so mad when i hear stuff like this!! So sad!! I think your parents can’t stand the fact that you have someone there for you. They seem so selfish! I think you should try to talk to them! Ask them what is it that i do that makes you soo mad at me? I hope things look up for you!
