Weight Loss Medicine Prescription
is this considered doctor shopping?
so i went to my primary care dr for a prescription of adipex(weight loss medicine) because i had a baby and could not for the life of me lose any weight(dieted exercised even tried alli) so he took my blood to check if my thyroid was messed up and it wasnt. he did not give me the adipex prescription. i went using my insurance. now i want to go to another doctor in my town who is known to give the prescription, and i want to pay out of pocket. i dont want to go to jail or anything over a few pounds of being smaller though. is this considered doctor shopping if i dont tell either doctor about the other?
