Weight Loss Goal Calculator
How long will it take me to lose weight?
I’m 16 years old, 5′ 3″, and 138 lbs.
I want to get down to at most 130 and at the very least 125. I’d like to be 130 by september.
I eat about 1200 calories a day and exercise everyday…so mathematically I think I should lose about 2 lbs per week so I should achieve said goal but I don’t know what other factors go into weight loss. Is there a website with a good calculator and/or timeline for weight loss? Thank you:)
It’s not as simple as that there are many factors. It’s not as simple as calories in and calories out, for instance, if you had 1200 calories in beer vs 1200 calories in Veggies, which do you think you would do better on? Another thing too is that if you eat too few calories your bodies goes into starvation mode and you won’t lose anything and you will have lousy energy.
I once had talked to this dietitian who put me on a diet, she basically uped 3x the amount of calories I was eating but it was in the form of balanced meals spread out 6 times a day. Even though I was eating more I had way more energy to work out and I end ed up dropping 20lbs pretty darn fast! And thats not even including the muscle I gained
Wanted to also expain to you that when you do the same excersizes your body becomes more efficient which is why monitoring your heart rate is so important. You will notice as the longer you do your routine the harder you have to work to maintain the same heart rate. So after a while change it up and do something different or increase you intensity,.
