Weight Loss During Pregnancy Third Trimester
Extreme Appetite decrease during pregnancy?
I am entering my third trimester. Throughout this entire pregnancy I dropped 11 pounds. (don’t worry, I was fat so the loss of weight didn’t hurt). I have absolutely NO appetite. I don’t want to eat anything, don’t have a taste for anything, and sometimes can go 24 hours with only one small meal. I am still nauseous and can hardly keep things down which is probably why I shy away from eating. Sometimes my husband has to remind me to eat and that is not like me because I used to eat and eat HARDY before my pregnancy. This is my first baby so I don’t know if it is normal. My Dr. said the weight loss is nothing to worry about but what about the ‘one meal a day thing’? Is the kiddo getting everything she needs? Should I force myself to eat more even if I do get sick? HELP PLEASE! And thanks a Bundle!

Also side question….is sprite (since it has no caffeine) just as safe as flavored seltzer water?
You know what, as long as your taking your prenatals, you’re fine. I felt the same way in my first trimester, and my doctor said it’s fine. I’m also overweight, so I lost 26 pounds back then. Your baby will take what it needs for your body, so it’s not affecting your baby at all. It’s really affecting your body. I would say try to eat a little more, even if you have to force yourself. Try for three small meals.
And yes, Sprite is safe. I drink caffiene everyday, and my little girl is fine.
