Plz give me some weight loss tips/suggestions, etc.?
I’m female, 30, 5’6, pear shaped. on 5/10/09 I started a lower carb/lower calorie diet. I’m eating 40% fruit/veggies, 40% protein, 15% carbs, 5%fat. I drink only water. My starting weight was 154. It’s 5/31/09, I’m now 150. I was hoping to lose more weight by now. I keep a food diary. These are the stats: Wk 1: 1709 calories weekly, 141 carbs daily; Wk 2: 1524 calories weekly, 102 carbs daily; Wk 3; 1321 calories weekly, 135 carbs daily.
How good is my weekly calorie/daily carb intake? Should i be doing something different? Should I have lost more weight than 4 pounds? Before this I was consuming lots of calories/carbs per day cause I ate fast food for lunch and dinner every day. I haven’t been exercising, I plan to start walking this week daily -1 hr. Any tips to see more effective results sooner? My goal is 140. Thanks.
okay people get this confused and messed up all the time. you might lose minumun wiehgt but if you had run or biked or even better, rollerbladed every night or 3 times a week you would have lost 10 or more pounds easily, its not enough eating better, you need to excercise and workout with some weights to tighten your skin. bc if your not doing any excercises all you will get is loos flabby skin so you have to workout in order to actually loos a noticably about of weight. 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat, meaning excercise enough to loose 500 calories then you can loose weiht fast but since your not intaking 500 calories a day, youll lose even more weight. also you may not see any difference on the scale because muscle weighs more than fat. you can acheive your goal in a month buy running, biking, rollerblading, swimming, eating right, liftin wiehgts. and dont worry about getting bulky people think youll get bulky by using weights but thats only when youve been lifting weights for 1 or 2 or sometimes 3 years. and even then you can control the bulkyness. and your carb diary intake is good, but you need to excercise, cutting calories is only helping a little bit.
