Sudden Weight Loss Kids
Sudden weight loss durring pregnancy?
I’m 5’1″ and my starting weight at the begining of my pregnancy was 117 by no means overwieght. I eat good and always try to put on weigh rather than lose weight and it has always worked. Now I am bordering m 3rd trimester and I keep losing weight??? Like I said I eat good hearty meals, snack all day long and honestly with 2 other kids in the house hardly have the time to do any exersizing. Does anyone know any thoughts on why the sudden loss of weight? I was 124 or 125 less than a week ago and last night I weighed myself and I dropped almost 5lbs…. Is there anything to worry about? The baby is very active and is growing like she should, but is it safe at my size to be loosing this weight? TY all

i was worried about the exact same thing during my last trimester. i did a ton of research, read a bout a bazillion books and talked to my doctor a number of times (i know, lil excessive, but she was my first 
)
anyways, its normal for you to be losing weight during your third trimester. they say you’ll reach your highest weight by the middle/end of the second trimester, then start losing some weight as the baby finishes developing. you’ll notice in a few weeks that you’ll hit a plateau where you wont lose or gain much weight at all. so again, dont worry about it. if you’re really concerned isuggest contacting your doctor – and if they’re not in, call telehealth.
