Safe Rapid Weight Loss Tips

Will this give me the results I am hoping for???
I am considering starting the cabbage soup diet next week. I already eat very healthy…mainly sushi, chicken, veggies and fruit. I am not overweight but am hoping to loose about five to ten pounds for a couple of special events happening in the next couple of weeks. I am aware that the safest and most effective form of weight loss includes healthy diet combined with exercise. However, I would like to drop this weight fast. I mainly eat less than a 1000 calories a day as it is right now. I was wondering if the cabbage soup diet will still produce the same quick and impressive weight loss if one is not overweight and already consuming less than 1000 calories per day? Any tips or answers would be greatly appreciated.:) And if any of you have found the cabbage diet to not be effective for rapid weight loss, perhaps you might be able to suggest another diet?

I can see where you are coming from and understand that you desire to lose the weight fast but must emphasis to you that rapid approaches to weight loss border on dangerous. Weight loss can only be a good thing when the weight lost is that of fatty tissue. Other rapid weight loss includes fluids from the blood stream leaving you in a state of dehydration, hypoglycemia, and with low blood pressure.
The consequences of this are the possibility of fainting, lethargy and bad temper amongst other things.
My advice to you is that the diet you are currently consuming consists of the right food types but you are not reaching the calorific intake required. If you are not over weight then there is no problem. I believe toning the areas that you are conscious of would be the best plan.
