Pet Wellness Exams
Becoming impossible to take care of your pets the way you want to?
I love my pets. They are always up to date on their shots and tick/flea/misquito treatments. They are neutered/spayed and go for wellness exams every 6 months. I have two cats, two ferrets, and a puppy. I took my cats in today for a 6 pack of Revolution, and to get an exam and their vaccinations for this year. 250 bucks and I will need more Revolution for them in 3 months and another 6 pack for my puppy soon. I will pay for their health no matter the cost and it’s like they know it so they way over charge! I work at a vet and do inventory and those needles with meds cost the doc. about 13 bucks and they charge 46. It’s getting rediculus! When is it going to stop? It’s going to hit a point where only a small amount of pet owners will be able to care take the way they want and should. It worries me.

It is getting terrible. My dogs seem to always weigh just over the weight chart so I have to get a double dose. I am just thankful that they are healthy. When one of my Rotties was very sick I went to the University of Tennessee Vet school. He was there for 2 weeks had 2 surgeries and the bill was $500.00. My vet is really great at helping rescue dogs or injured dogs at little or no cost which makes me feel better about paying and he gives me the multiple animal discount. the drug companies know pet people will pay and they take advantage of it.
