Mommy, Daddy, best friends. help!?
Heyyy Im 17 and this past year I did a comp. at school where I was partnered up with the school secretary. Not only did I have the great opportunity of this woman being my mentor or guide/ teacher through the whole competition. It was for weight loss. But I gained a friends. We got really close and we are great friends now. My parents can not stand her and they think I should no longer be friends with her. My parents are not the greatest people. Dads and alcoholic and moms in love with my little brothers lives. They never pay a speck of attention to me and never ever say they love me never once have they ever said it. They miss every school function and there outright always telling me I am an asshole. Should I stop being friends with the secretary and what should i do about my parents.
You can be friends with her. However as she is elder to you. I would ask you to be careful and make sure you maintian a distance, as your parents are not too close you to you. There is a huge possibility that you would change her to your role model and do as she tells you.
Ask yourr mom why she doesnt want, you to be friends with her. may be your mom is just jealous, to see the kind of respect you have for that lady, and your mom is not getting it. Dont shout and argue, put forward your points on how you are learning and enjoying her company and, how you will always be careful and make right decisions. You have to act as an adult, to make sure, adults don’t treat you like a kid, or dont command you
