Glucerna Weight Loss Shakes
Glucerna shakes and weight loss?
I am diabetic with a “fatty liver”, at only 32 this scares me and I need to lose atleast 50 lbs (according to my dr) so I was wondering if it is safe to drink the glucerna shakes like some people would use the slimfast shakes and drink those for breakfast and lunch or whatever. Would that help me lose some weight to regain some control?
That’s not a practical way to lose weight because you will lose interest in that program quickly. Ask your doc for a referral to a dietician to help you develop a practical diet that will help you lose weight, reduce your blood sugar level, and should help your liver too.
In addition, you will need to do some exercise. Join a class at the local YMCA.
