How do I forget about high school?
High school was the most depressing period of my life I have yet experienced.
I wasn’t bullied or anything but I was very shy and went through a lot of personal issues that lead to my exclusion throughout the whole 4 years. I had no good friends and spent my saturday nights waiting for a invitational phone call to one of the countless parties, but it never came. Didn’t have a girlfriend, didn’t talk to any girls at a personal level, was socially awkward, failed most of my courses, was severely sleep deprived and my teachers hated me thinking I was a crack addict because of my insomnia and weight-loss from the depression.
I look back at it and feel like I wasted my youth away, how do I get over this feeling. I want nothing more than to forget all those years of loneliness and start with a fresh, clean slate.
Fuck high school.

You don’t forget those years. One-because you physically & mentally cannot. We are not able to just swipe memories away. If we were no soldier would return from battle with PTSD. Two- if you forgot what you did or didn’t do, you could not learn from those actions and do better. For instance, if you forgot that you didn’t have any good friends & what actions you did or didn’t take to have friends, then you wouldn’t know today, what to do or not to do to have good friends now. The past is what we learn from so that we don’t keep doing the same things over and over again.
A clean slate? You have one now, today and everyday that u choose to get up and learn from your past and do things differently.
