Can I still loose weight without changing my diet?

I eat all the right foods already. I cook w/olive oil, whole wheat bread, eat vegetables and fruit, and drink plenty of water. I don’t enjoy junkfood much, almost never but I’ve been stuck home for the past 6 mo. after my last baby and I don’t exercise. I have 3 babies (4, 3, and 6 mo.) and I’m very occupied w/my kids especially during the seasonal changes because 2 of my babies have asthma and I know I haven’t focused on myself. I was able to loose the weight from both of my other babies but these 20 lbs just seem to be very stubborn. What is the average weekly/monthly weight loss from walking 1/2 hr. every day w/out changing your diet? Any other exercise or daily routine tips are welcomed as well. Thank you in advance! By the way, my last birth was a c-section, the other were normal. Does this have to do with the stubborn weight issue?

Okay, I’ve had 6 kids all C-sections. Mine are ages 13, 11, 10, 8, 6, and 3. So I understand what you are going through.

First go see your Dr. and have and be tested for Insulin resistance. It is the number one reason people can’t lose weight.

Other then that there are some small simple things you can do that really help.

1) make sure you are eating breakfast. Make sure it has protein and fiber. It will make a huge difference. IT gets your metabolism revved for the rest of the day. You will burn more calories just doing what your normally do.

2)make sure you are getting at least 30 grams of fiber a day. It helps you fell full all day. Also, some people say it helps your body metabolize carbs and fats without storing them.

3)make sure you do your 3 servings of dairy. The calcium helps your cells store less fat, and the protein will help you fell full.

4) Drink water. I know you say you are drinking a lot you may still not be drinking enough. If you are breast feeding you need and extra 8oz every time you bf. If you are trying to lose weight 10 8oz drinks. The water helps you not store fat and helps the body flush out fat.

I know it sounds koooky but these small changes can really help. It’s all adding not taking away from what you do.
